With 107 spacious sites across the campground, guests can enjoy the quiet prairie setting while still being just minutes from Strathmore’s restaurants, groceries, and conveniences. After a day on the water or exploring the area, unwind with a lakeside sunset and a campfire. Guests have access to campground amenities including showers, laundry facilities, a septic dumping station, and our camp store stocked with firewood, ice, propane, and basic necessities. Kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats are also available for rent for those who want to spend time out on Eagle Lake. Seasonal campers have access to all campground amenities including showers, laundry facilities, the septic dumping station with bi-weekly septic truck service, and our on-site camp store. Spend your days paddling on the lake, relaxing by the fire, or watching the prairie sunsets that make this place special. Seasonal availability is limited each year. Long-Term Camping

Quiet long-term RV living near Strathmore Wheatland Shores also offers a limited number of full-time RV sites for those looking for a quiet, long-term place to stay near Strathmore and Calgary. Located along the peaceful shores of Eagle Lake, our campground provides a calm and welcoming environment for longer-term residents who appreciate the slower pace of lakeside living while still having convenient access to nearby amenities. Full-time guests benefit from campground services including a septic dumping station with bi-weekly septic truck service, laundry facilities, showers, and the convenience of the camp store. The campground maintains a relaxed and respectful atmosphere, making it a comfortable place to settle in while enjoying the surrounding prairie landscape and beautiful evening sunsets over the lake. Full-time site availability is limited.

Whether you're meeting friends or family staying at the campground or simply looking to spend a relaxing afternoon by Eagle Lake, day use guests are invited to experience the quiet lakeside atmosphere.

Spend time by the water, enjoy a picnic, or take in the beautiful prairie views and sunsets that make this area special. Kayaks, paddleboards, and peddle boats may also be available for rent through the campground during your visit.

To help maintain a comfortable and relaxing environment for our campers and seasonal guests, we ask that all day visitors check in at the camp store upon arrival and follow campground guidelines during their stay.
